In simultaneous interpretation service, the interpreter hears what the speaker says through the headphones in the cabin, translates it synchronously into the target language and transmits it to the listeners’ headphones through a microphone. In this way, the speaker’s words can be translated into many languages by more than one interpreter at the same time. Simultaneous interpretation is generally preferred in large and especially multilingual meetings.

Consecutive translation
Consecutive interpretation is when the interpreter listens to what the speaker wants to say and then relays it to the audience. No technical tools are used in this type of translation. Consecutive interpretation is usually used when the meeting in question is very short, technical, confidential or formal.
WE ARE HERE TO LISTEN AND BE HEARD.
Consecutive translation was once a rival to simultaneous translation. This conflict began during the UN courts after World War II. Today, experts and professional translation agencies know in which cases simultaneous translation is more suitable than consecutive translation. It differs in that the expert starts to translate after the speaker stops or pauses. Such an interpretation service is most often needed during meetings with foreign partners, when speaking at forums and congresses, during presentations, exhibitions, negotiations, meetings or video conferences. In cases where the audience is small or when simultaneous translation is not possible or not possible due to technical reasons.
CHARACTERISTICS OF CONSECUTIVE TRANSLATION
In the process of consecutive interpretation, the expert formulates the translation at the moment of speaking and tells the listeners about it during the speaker’s pauses. the interpreter involuntarily increases, but the meaning of what is said is not lost. As a rule, experienced speakers deliberately pause in their speech, realizing how the quality of service depends on the speed of their speech. To perform such a difficult task as consecutive interpretation qualitatively, an interpreter needs not only excellent knowledge of the language and etiquette, high stress resistance and a broad outlook, but also a trained memory capable of storing large volumes of the speaker’s speech.
Another feature of consecutive interpreting is the recorded interpretation, which is done, for example, in official summits, international forums, live broadcasts, in places where there are long phrases and a lot of digital data, dates or names, and where accurate translation is very important. In such cases, the expert uses a “notebook entry” and then uses important information in the translation. In some cases, the interpreter may have a speaker’s speech in front of him, where he can make adjustments depending on the development of events.
The main thing in consecutive translation is the frames. Therefore, the Country Consulting office only accepts translators who have language knowledge (Turkish, English, German, French, Arabic, etc.).
Consecutive interpreting, unlike simultaneous interpreting, can be done without special equipment; there is no such clear time limit for the speaker, although this may mean an increase in the duration of the speech. Most often, this type of interpreting is performed into only one language.
